ARTICLE I - NAME OF CORPORATION.
This Organization shall be known as the Streamline Royal Rovers International Incorporated. A not for profit Texas Corporation.
ARTICLE II - OBJECTIVES
The objectives of this organization shall be to encourage and assist in developing Clubs, Regions, and Chapters of the Streamline Royal Rovers International, Inc.
To encourage fellowship and friendship among club members, to encourage safe driving and trailer towing operation, to assist in improving the general welfare of the recreational vehicle public and encourage active participation in building a strong and active organization, to assist in improving the goodwill of the public toward trailer travel, to cooperate with other similar groups in opposing discriminatory legislation that would be damaging and injurious to recreational vehicle owners, to encourage improved trailer parks and facilities by private and governmental agencies.
The International headquarters shall be located in an area designated by the International Board of Directors.
The powers of the International shall be to coordinate the activities of the Chapters and issue Charters for all the Chapters.
Section 1 - A prerequisite for membership shall be a travel vehicle, which shall include, travel trailer, motor home or truck camper.
Section 2 - There shall be an At-Large Membership for Royal Rovers who have no Chapter in their vicinity, but still want to maintain the fellowship of the club. Their dues to be the same as regular members.
Section 3 - There shall be an Auxiliary Membership for past Royal Rovers, who no longer wish to own a recreational vehicle, but still want to maintain the fillowship of the club. Their dues to be one half the regular dues. An Auxilliary Member shall not hold any office and shall not have voting privileges.
Section 4 - All Chapter members shall be members in good standing in the International Organization.
Section 5 - Failure to pay dues will automatically terminate membership in the Streamline Royal Rovers International, Inc.
ARTICLE VI - OFFICERS, ELECTION & TERM OF OFFICE
Section 1 - The Board of Directors shall define policy and supervise the acts of all officers and committees.
Section 2 - The number of Directors will be two from each member Chapter and two from the Members At-Large. If at the Annual International Rally, the quota cannot be filled in this manner, the equivalent number shall be elected from the General Membership, provided however each Chapter and At-Large must be represented by at least one Director.
Section 3 - The Administrative Officers shall be International President, 1st Vice President, Recording Secretary/Treasurer, Assistant Recording Secretary/Treasurer. They may serve for more than one year.
Section 4 - The Assistant Recording Secretary/Treasurer shall be the spouse of the Recording Secretary/Treasurer. If there is no spouse, or the spouse does not wish to serve as the Assistant, the Recording Secretary/Treasurer shall select member from his/her Chapter to be his Assistant, sbject to the Board of Directors approval.
ARTICLE VII - MEETINGS
Section 1 - The Board of Directors shallmeet once annually at the International Rally to conduct the business of the Club.
Section 2 - All Board members shall be notified in writing not less than 90 days prior to the Annual Meeting.
Section 3 - The Board Chairman may call Special Business Meetings at any time deemed necessary. Notice of Spoecial Meetings shall be given aty least 30 days in advance of meeting.
ARTICLE VIII - AMENDMENTS
Section 1 - Any proposed changes in the Constitution or By-LAws must be circulated to the members 90 days prior to the International Rally. A 2/3 majority vote of the members present will be necessary for the passage of the proposed change.
ARTICLE IX - MEMBERSHIP DUES AND FEES
Section 1 - There will be a $10.00 initiation fee per unit upon application for membership.
Section 2 - The Board shall determine the amount of Annual Dues
Section 3 - Dues shall become payable on January 1st of each year.
Section 4 - These monies shall be deposited in the International Treasury.
ARTICLE X - BY-LAWS
Section 1 - By-Laws not inconsistent with the International Constitution further providing for the government of the International may be considered by the Board. ANy changes must be presented to the members 90 days prior to the meeting, and presented at the meeting, for ratification, amendment or rejection.
